I stumbled into this pod this winter and sad I didn’t know Tim had his own pod having thoroughly enjoyed him on Buster’s. It’s been a blast catching up and I’m getting more miles in walking as I can’t stop listening until they finish. With his son Jeff , they make great partners and I feel part of the family. Sometimes I am laughing so hard I need to stop walking. Other times, it is very emotional bringing a tear or two to my eyes. Enjoy, I know I will.

Amazing content, fantastic interviews, and plenty of laughs. It’s rare to find this kind of baseball insight from anyone else but Tim Kurkjian. His stories about the game and the history of the MLB is unparalleled. If this podcast was a woman I would marry it and take it home to meet my parents.

Tim is fantastic. His enthusiasm is appreciated by listeners. His stories and facts are great. Jeff is likable and keeps things moving. I look forward to each Tuesday. Now to be the bad guy. Tim repeats his stories. Not sure he realizes this. Michael Cuddyer’s magic tricks, Carlos Lee wearing his birthday on the back of his jersey, the guy that came up to him at a cocktail party with the trivia question about 40 homer hitters with 4 letters or less in their last name, etc. if you listen to one podcast you’ll love it. If you listen to all of them you’ll see that certain names, phrases, etc trip a breaker in his memory bank and he pulls out one of his greatest hits. Like a sports talk host that insists on playing the Jim Mora bite whenever the word “playoffs” is mentioned or the Iverson bite each time “practice” comes up in conversation. I’ve read Tim’s books, which are excellent, so I’ve experienced the stories this way as well so this probably plays into it. Still…5 Stars!
