I am in the throes of planning our first trip to Switzerland and I am simply moved beyond measure by the plethora and wealth of information in this podcast and on the Holidays to Switzerland website. I really enjoy research and the planning of a trip. I’ve traveled a fair amount and I always spend a significant amount of time and energy planning my trips. Never have I found myself wanting to plan the second trip to same place before even taking the first trip to a place. But here I am, still planning the first trip and wanting to plan to next one all because of this podcast! I started listening to this podcast, sorting out the episodes that focused on my current itinerary and now I find myself listening to just everything! I love hearing about the creators own trips, opinions and experiences but her ability to pull in exceptionally informative guests is surreal. Experts in all areas of trip planning. The episodes are rich with information and the show notes provide links to almost everything discussed in the episode. The information is a godsend to planning.

This podcast has been extremely helpful while planning our upcoming honeymoon. Carolyn has first hand knowledge from traveling there herself and always has on great Swiss guest who provide even more insights, tips and knowledge on the regions. I love planning our vacations myself but found myself getting overwhelmed with the various modes of transportation (trains/gondolas/cable cars, etc) we don’t have in the US and various regional passes available to tourists. I hopped around and listened to the episodes that best suited my needs but then quickly found myself listening to all the others in hopes that we’ll be able to go back and see even more next time. Great podcast!
