this review is long overdue. i’ve listened for a couple years. Joel & Ryan know their stuff. true hockey fans. insightful. good chemistry between them. funny at times, but not unnecessarily so. i’ve found other NHL betting shows, but this is head and shoulders above the rest. maybe most importantly, they’re not trying to sell me anything, or trying to prove how smart they are. i only hope that one day they’ll explain why Joel roots for the Aves & also the Canucks.. it’s still a mystery to me. maybe it’s explained in an early episode that i missed. keep up the great work. thanks.

Love the analysis these guys do on every game. Always insightful. One of the best things they do is recording the day before, which allows me listen the night before the games instead of trying to squeeze in a time during the day of the games. The guys are probably the some of the funniest sports podcasters too. Great dynamic when all 3 are on. Just wish they’d be more consistent with doing pods when there’s a full slate of games (like last night) instead of doing a pod for a 3-game slate (like tonight).

Just started to getting into podcasts, really into hockey so i wanted to find something that talked about hockey. Your guys podcast was the first one to pop up so I turned it on to listen. Best decision of my life you get to hear everyone’s opinions about hockey as well as a good laugh. You guys are great will from now on tune into every podcast. GO CANES

i’m a casual nhl fan AT BEST (go flyers) but what i like about this podcast is how they go in depth with their picks, why they make the they also keep me informed about player performances (ex “this goalie struggles on the road”), i learn more nhl names, and they also like to bust chops with one another. great podcast, keep it up guys.

Let me say when you can sift through the ridiculous, childish and utters useless cursing and vulgarity there is a lot of useful content in this show. Let me confess the first time I heard this podcast I laughed when the dude says “Blackcocks” for Blackhawks. But lately (today's feb 15 podcast is a great example, the shear stupidity of the one vulgar guy Talon Jenkins made today’s podcast impossible to get through to the important content which is a shame). Hey I’m no prude when it comes to locker room language but people are busy especially gamblers trying to listen to multiple podcasts to gain information - a couple of curses or vulgar mash ups of team names is great but this guy has gone way way way past that. Was cute at first but it’s now totally ruined this podcast. What’s a shame is the content besides Talon’s cursing (even his) is spectacular. I also love how they summarize best bets and consensus picks (consensus picks are usually gold) . The shows without Talon (and even the occasional one with him where he limits his vulgarity) are 5 stars worth while. But his excessive use of vulgarity and todays ridiculous rant is wasting valuable listener time and replacing useful contact to help us get to winners with an insane volume of mindless nothingness. I’m not sure why Ryan Gilbert and Joel Meyer allow this on what could be one of the best sports gambling podcast on the market. They are gold and the shame is so is Talon’s actual hockey content (today it was about 30% of his content-70% was useless rants and cursing). His vulgarity and screaming rants now exceeds the actual hockey content on this show - which is such a shame because these guys know hockey. Two ways to react to this review - dismiss it or actually have a team meeting with some real introspection to try to take this podcast to a higher level and dial back the vulgarity a bit - doesn’t have to be to none - but now it’s made the greatest gambling content on podcasts tough to get to. I introduced 11 people to this show - only 2 continue to tune in the others just can’t take it anymore. 9 left because of Talon. Nuff said.
