GoodTrash GenreCast

by GoodTrash Media

A movie analysis show looking at your favorite cult and genre films from across cinema history. Each week, Dustin, Arthur, and Dalton try to apply academic rigor and critical analysis to the films you wouldn’t talk about in a film studies class while having a few laughs along the way. It’s the conversations you have in the lobby of the multiplex with a little more room to breathe, and the occasional footnote. Stay tuned to the feed for bonus episodes on new releases.

What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I'm a pretty big fan of movies but honestly had gotten bored with review shows. Fortunately I discovered GTGC, which instead provides wonderful analysis accompanied by wit from a myriad of hosts and sometimes singing (which is good and not bad). If you are looking for something outside the norm of movie podcasts, give Good Trash a listen. You won't be disappointed or your money back.

Samdavisboyhero · Oct 2016

This podcast (along with the rest of the Good Trash Media spin off shows) is fun to listen to. it's broken down into segments that help me really understand the deeper meaning of films. These people bring critical analysis and bring personal stories that will tug on your heart strings and make you laugh out loud. This is worth every second of your time and you should listen to this show and fall in love with it like I have.

DanielAaronAustin · May 2016

Everyone on the show adds there own personal charm to the group and usually they all have a very distinct analysis that is all there own and its lovely and wonderful. Weather they are agreeing with each other or in a heated argument its always a good time and a lot of laughs are to be had by them and the audience as well. These guys know movies and whats worth talking about within the confines of them. If you want to learn about movie analysis or just enjoy hearing people talk about films you should be listening to this podcast.

WAZZUH · Jan 2016

From Dustin's extensive knowledge to Dalton's holier-than-thou attitude, it's a great time all around. Always insightful, joyously effervescent, and fun to follow. Cannot recommend any more highly.
