by Jake Triplett & Brad Ellis
Lighthearted, relatable, and hilarious banter between two best friends who love to find the humor in everyday life. Jake & Brad quote The Office as easily and as often as they consume Chick-Fil-A and listeners love the clean, witty humor that they provide in every episode.

Hi Jake, Brad, and Timon! I’ve been listening to the podcast for many years now, but I’m a first time reviewer! I originally found you guys through Correct Opinions (and through my older sister who started listening before me). I now attend a Christian college in northern Indiana very close to Main Street Roasters!! and let me just say, it absolutely lives up to the hype! Main Street is THE spot everyone at school goes for amazing coffee and the best vibes. :) Thank you guys so so much for all the time and energy you put into this podcast each week! and for keeping Christ at the center of all you do! You’ve made my long drives to work this summer full of laughter! This is undeniably a 5 star podcast! Also- I’ve got to side with Brad on the bell choir thing. Growing up my family was apart of a music co-op, so naturally my siblings and I were all in the bell choir from ages 7-18. We were also homeschooled…but I’m sure that had nothing to do with it… Love you guys! Thanks for all you do, Lauren Gatewood
I’ve listened to Ghostrunners for long enough that I actually can’t remember when I started. Must have been shortly after the first episodes, as it’s been a part of my listening through my teaching career, my wedding, a cross country move, and the birth of our first child. I was homeschooled through high school (keep it up, Brad and Kathryn!), but not sheltered enough apparently, as when I got to college I remember friends saying, “You were homeschooled?! You don’t act like it.” Maybe a compliment to me, or maybe an insult to the homeschooling community. 😂 Thanks for all the laughs and making me care about a sport I’ve never played, gents! And for giving me ample opportunity to explain Midwest culture to my Malawian husband, never fails to make us laugh!
Love the podcast, you guys continue to kill it every episode. The genuine joy that you guys have and the willingness to share insights into your life, family, faith, and work make this podcast something special. I have listened to a lot of podcasts, and the ones I stick with have one thing in common, and that is community. Ghostrunners is one of the few reasons I go to Facebook anymore because the FB group is always a fun read. I also feel a parallel bond as I spent my early years in Springfield, MO, my junior high years in Shawnee MIssion off W71st, and Branson holds special memories as I was a Lifeguard at White Water one summer and worked at K1 as a cook another summer when the kitchen there burned down( I can confirm I was in Sprigfield on a day off when that happened, it was definitely a counselor dumping hot oil in a trash can). ALl your stories bring back great memories of past times, and as one of your underrepresented Gen X listeners, it is great to hear you guys progress through marriage and parenthood experiences, often shaking my head at your answers while also rooting you on. I am so glad you guys kept this going even when Jake moved to the desert, this dynamic brings even more to make us smile as you navigate internet and weather differences. Thanks for the community you have developed and the joy the 3 hours a week we get living life with you guys! Thanks, Alex Rowland
I am brand new to this podcast and I love it. Jake and Brad are hilarious and my wife and I have loved checking out their content. I am working on listening to every episode in order from the podcasts’ origins. It’s worth that kind of effort. Do yourself a favor and listen now!
