Love the show but seems like it could be shortened to around 40 minutes to pack a bigger punch and attract more listeners. Just a suggestion, it seems like that’s the sweet spot for sports pods to avoid too much ranting and losing people’s interest. Thanks again for the awesome work y’all do with this and the fantasy forecast. Love both shows just wish they were more concise and not as drawn out to over an hour. Go Badgers!
Tice continues to deliver excellent on-field and draft prospect analysis using his breadth of experience and likable personality. He is still a better Guest than Host though. Podcasts can be a bit ramble-y. To paraphrase Tice, if you’re going to make a joke or obscure reference do it quickly. Sometimes we focus too much on our own take-record/nameless internet commenters. If the team can trim off some of the non-ball talk fat and try to ask more insightful questions this podcast can improve to an elite level.
This is a show I love to listen to, and I’m not just saying that because I work at Yahoo. Nate & Matt & Charles translate advanced stats and film study in a way that is accessible to the average dumb fan (me).
Nate Tice, Charles McDonald and Matt Harmon: A Must-Listen for Football Enthusiasts I've been a dedicated listener of this podcast since day 1. It's consistently been one of the most insightful and entertaining football shows I've ever come across. Their in-depth analysis of NFL offensive and defensive schemes is unparalleled. What sets them apart is their ability to break down complex concepts into digestible terms. They explain intricate plays, formations, and strategies in a way that even casual fans can understand. Their passion for the game is evident in every episode, as they dive deep into the nuances of each team's approach. As a fantasy football player, Tice, McDonald and Harmon's podcast has been invaluable. Their analysis of individual players and how they fit into their respective schemes provides a significant edge when making roster decisions. They often identify potential breakout players or players who may be underutilized in certain offensive systems. Beyond the fantasy aspect, their show simply enhances my enjoyment of watching football. By understanding the strategic battles taking place on the field, I appreciate the game on a whole new level. Their insights have made me a more informed and engaged fan. If you're a serious football fan looking to deepen your understanding of the game, I highly recommend giving Tice and Harmon's podcast a listen. Their expertise and engaging style make them a must-listen for anyone who wants to elevate their football knowledge.
