A podcast from JMM feels like the greatest, most obvious and inevitable thing. John Mark has been bringing us into his inner world, his wrestling’s and reckonings with God and himself for years through his songs. It’s only natural that now it’s time to put down the guitar but stay in front of the mic and continue to explore these topics in a different medium with a different set of freedoms and limitations. John Marks music has always fleshed out what is left unsaid in a lyric, and now in a podcast John Mark is free to flesh out with words and story what is impossible to say in song. The next most obvious and inevitable thing is a book of course, which I will also be just as excited to read.
