Ian, thank you for keeping the FUN in fantasy football. Usage rates, routes run and YAC are all here. Get smart and have a laugh with Fantasy life.
Actionable info in a concise format. I digest a lot of fantasy football and baseball content to support my high stakes efforts. Mr. Hartitz is absolutely the most enjoyable dude I listen to. What an extremely talented guy, who obviously loves fantasy football. Great job!!!
Ian and Dwain (especially) are so great at what they do. Stop listening to a bunch of different analysts and just focus on these guys! They’re the perfect combination of expertise and entertainment, plus a few well timed laughs (beware the murderous Girl Scouts!).
Getting Dwain and Ian to come over from PFF was a boon for this podcast. Dwain has the most objective, unbiased mind in the fantasy industry. Following his draft strategy has consistently placed me in the top quarter of my league every time since following him a couple years ago. Couldn’t give this a better rating if I tried.
This podcast is definitely entertaining, and their utilization reports are quite helpful for specific positions. However, if you're looking for reliable rankings, you might want to look elsewhere. Freedman is the only one who consistently ranks well in accuracy, but unfortunately, he's rarely on. When he does appear, they don't give him much opportunity to share his takes, which is a real shame.
The hosts are solid and typically good advice but it’s hard to follow their strategy. Don’t know what happened but the focus on best ball is a bit much. We are almost at the end of August and the content is focused on best ball. In early August the hosts would often mention that strategy and ADP would change once redraft season gets here, but here we are and still the focus is still on best ball. When redraft seems like a focus, best ball is still mentioned and the hosts don’t clarify whether they are distinguishing between best ball and redraft. I listened to the podcast because I loved Ian and Dwain when they were with PFF, but, they as well as the other podcasters, have really disappointed me for redraft season. They’re great podcasters and fantasy football players, so I hope they can take a step back and rethink their approach.
