These guys have been a huge help to me this year navigating through player injuries, expectations, and disappointments. I like the different perspectives and rationales given on players, positions, game script, and matchups. Adam is super likable as host and I have come rely on this podcast as a must listen.
Five star review for a five star podcast. Give this one a try if you want more than just fantasy stats. These guys are all great and you can tell they love what they do. Solid banter even when they’re off topic. Question for the podcast: Can I trust Kyler Murray at all going forward? I made the playoffs no thanks to him, so should I give up on him and start Russel Wilson or a waiver QB going forward? Example of some options in my league: Caleb Williams Matt Stafford Anthony Richardson Drake Maye
First 3 minutes is nothing but ads. You then get 10-15 minutes of content until the next round of ads come through. And that’s not even counting the in-show ads/promotions! This show alone has made sure that I’ll never use the “BetMGM” app. The length of the ads are never consistent either, so you can’t use the skip 30 second forward to quickly get through the ad. Maybe if every ad was 30-60 seconds it’d help. Lastly, they’ve been promoting BlueSky, which is very annoying. Not many AOC or Mark Hamill fans are needing good fantasy advice. They need to stick to X for engaging with the fantasy community.
This show just keeps getting better. Great info, and a terrific blend of analysis and data. Welcome to the LOTR, Adam.
For a network production, the audio disappoints and distracts from the show. I have turned off multiple episodes due the obnoxious mouse clicking in the background. Add in the heavy breathing and it’s unlistenable with headphones or even in the car. The only time I can tolerate it, is when it’s playing on my phone speaker and there are other noises to distract. I’ll add two more stars when they clean up production. Been listening for years, but finally was frustrated enough to leave a review in hopes I can come back and listen again soon.
Unfortunately, the actual fantasy content is minimal compared to others. Every two minutes there’s another promo. Enjoy their camaraderie, but simply too much fat and not enough actual advice/analysis.
