Listening to your podcast on Dec 22, I laughed out loud. Your comments on the capitulation of MSNBC hit home. After Joe Scarborough, whom I have never been a fan of, trotted off to pay fealty to Mr. Trump, I stopped watching MSNBC. It wasn’t Joe I had been watching, it was Rachel with whom I was losing confidence, and occasionally one of the other night time hosts. I’ve been moving to some podcasts and away from corporate news but the recent lack of integrity in news has caused me to cancel my Washington Post subscription (how far they have fallen from Katherine Graham days), my New York Times subscription & now to disconnect MSNBC. The network that doesn’t stand up for the principles that drew me (your show), has lost me to podcasts. Your comments were so on target that I couldn’t help but laugh out loud at the stupidity of corporate news. Thank you for a laugh at a time when I didn’t think I could!

If you hunger for honest, intelligent, well-written commentary - perfectly balanced with biting humor, when appropriate - Countdown is for you. As much as I enjoyed his political commentary and sports coverage on TV, Keith is equally effective as a podcaster. He should be running a progressive streaming network!
