Just started listening but I absolutely love the way Saron makes everything so thematic, taking the boredom out of coding history and really makes you feel her passion in the subject as she brings everything to life with dramatic background music, authors and others in the field, been looking for something like this! Keep it up!

This valuable and interesting content is presented in such an approachable, consumable, applicable, and fun way. I love Saron’s style of narration — blending stories and interviews — bringing drama and intrigue to these tech tales and concepts! I find the whole show really engaging and impossible to tune out or turn off. I am so grateful for this podcast as a go-to supplement to my tech education! Thanks and keep up the incredible work.

The content is always a good brief overview to the subjects. The interviews are great. But the narration style is really difficult to listen to. Every sentence is read to the same dramatic tune. Five stars if she could state things a bit more matter of factly.

I absolutely love this podcast. Especially the fact that they are bringing to light inventors who were never recognized for their work.

While the treatment of the history of computing gets a fair amount of depth with plenty of voices chiming in on the important waypoints along that fabulous tapestry. the host’s overall narration and delivery ruins the entire experience. She’s too sprightly and too upbeat, making the content feel less like an exposition of the facets of technical subjects and more like advertising—but not just advertising to people in tech, but advertising to children. The host would make a great pre-school teacher! But as a podcast host? Not so much. Could only stomach two episodes before I unsubscribed.

I so want to listen to every podcast from this show. But the host’s vocal delivery is so exaggerated and affected that it’s unlistenable. This is too bad, because when the host interviews people in a normal conversation, she shows that she does have a more normal way of talking in real life. Unfortunately the scripted parts of the show are delivered in an over-the-top sing-song manner.
