Digestible material, engaging (and brilliant) hosts, and entertaining segues. At this point, it’s the only podcast I consistently listen to and I obsessively check to see when the next episode has dropped. (Dear Chemists, that is not a complaint about regularity, I’m just impatient, but also understand that you have other demands on your time besides entertaining me)
Love this podcast. Deep science dives plus a bit of lightness and humor. These two chemists are the real deal and provide detailed descriptions of what works and what might not.
Have been really enjoying the podcast, it is informative and enjoyable. Surprised to read some of the negative reviews. Love the animal fun fact segment, it helps break up the monotony, otherwise there is a risk of this turning into a boring lecture. It is very easy to understand the content and I for one enjoy the light banter. Ads are part of the free podcasts and as a fellow woman I am happy to support the hustle. Truly appreciate the effort, keep it up. Thank you!
If you thought this podcast was very educational and super charming, the new format with a closer focus on a specific ingredients seems even better. Taking the time to cover a topic comprehensively is really interesting. Thank you so much for bringing skin science to the lay person and addressing some of the misconceptions prevalent in the media.
It could have been an interesting podcast, but the 2 speakers are inaudible: theirs are not radio voices- on top of the recording quality being poor- and their delivery is grating (one of the 2 speakers seems to just emit burst of sounds like a squeaky toy in the background.) Radio voices, these are definitely not. I lost attention after 10 minutes: the topic is lost in an unpleasant listening experience.
