The Ulysses of podcasts – beautiful sound design and storytelling that demands you stop trying to listen while driving or doing laundry and give it your full attention. The Tin Can team has made high art in podcasting; all fans of the medium NEED to experience this show in the best audio environment possible. Keep the fires burning!
Bendigedig! I love this story so much. The connections between the characters are so authentic and I am so invested in their story. The mood and music is so reminiscent of Firefly in a way that is so comforting to me. And the sound design is so impressive. Compelling. I hope to see more. Diolch!
I binged Camlann a couple of days ago and had an excellent time; I really enjoyed the Arthurania, and was super-excited to see the Mabinogion in there too. (Secretly I’d kind of been wondering if Dai had a hidden name connecting to the Mabinogion instead of Arthurian legend, which, well… not exactly. But since they’re in Wales…) I immediately went and purchased the Bandcamp version, and am looking forward to whenever you manage to get the soundtrack out, and, with luck, to a season 2!
What’s not to like about this show? I love Arthurian retellings, especially ones that add several twists like the one does (modern day post apocalyptic, Arthur isn’t the main focus, and some other things that are spoilers). There is so much to learn and wonder about the world: why are stories important, how were the stories “chosen” (why those stories vs. other stories), what caused the cataclysm, and so many more! Here’s to future seasons and more stories told around a fire.
Wanted to like the show, as it has great potential. But poor dialogue audio plus uneventful and unclear storyline, mad it hard. The lack of dialogue audibility is pretty tough.
