As the Season Turns - Podcast Rankings and reviews

I don’t even live in the UK (Hi, from America!) but it doesn’t matter - I love listening to each month’s episode. The narrator’s voice is so calming and it’s interesting to hear how nature changes from month to month. I love putting this on when taking my daily walk around my neighborhood or in the morning when I’m having my tea and working on a puzzle. Great little treat each month!

I discovered this podcast recently and was instantly transported to places of calm. With a gentle, even tone and beautiful soundscapes we hear about that month’s ancient customs, garden fluctuations, music, sun and moon changes and lore. Just simply a joyful podcast. Mesmerizing.

I cannot express how much I now look forward to the first of the month so I can listen to another lovely episode of this podcast. This podcast is the auditory equivalent of a cozy sweater, cup of tea, or hug from my child.

What a gorgeous aural delight the January 1, 2025, episode is. I thoroughly enjoyed it, from hearing this famous Irish folk song I didn’t know about to learning about the moon phases and tides this month to learning about this ear fungus. This episode brought calm to me this morning & has given me ideas about how to start my new year with intention and hope.
