First time medium time. Truly the most consistently entertaining podcast and the only one you really need. I love the ad free tier. Grateful for Lindsey, Bobby, and Timmy.
If you’re looking to get into Who? Weekly, this past week’s Gabriel Macht, McKenna Grace ep is a great place to start! Everything I love about the show captured in one ep! Listen!
i love listening to these two talk and hearing references to the extremely mysterious timmy (what’s he sound like). honestly this pod keeps me young and the patreon is r-e-q-u-i-r-e-d reading (got sick of making dashes). i have watched so many shows and movies as a direct result of listening to the pod and my fiancé knows when i say “i heard good things about this movie” that i heard them from my beloved new york tastemakers bobby and lindsay. never stop love you all crunch crunch.
It takes a few episodes to get Lindsey & Bobby’s rhythm. Stick with it & you will be rewarded. Clearly dear friends, their banter is top notch. Elite celeb-ish chatter. Strongly recommend!
I've been a fan of this podcast since 2016. It has truly helped me through some dark days, and for that I will always be grateful. However, over the years, it has become difficult for me to fully support the podcast because of Lindsey. I've seen other reviews point out her condescension, and I have to agree. Her tone towards religion can veer into what feels like bigotry, and her views on middle Americans can come across as elitist at best. Additionally, there have been many instances where she, as a straight woman, speaks over Bobby, a gay man, when he is making an interesting point that listeners would like to hear fully expressed. Despite these concerns, I will continue to support the show because it still brings me joy. Bobby seems like an incredibly thoughtful, kind, intelligent person with a heart of gold, and beyond my current grievances towards Lindsey, I believe she is a good person who may not always realize that some of the things she says can be really hurtful to members of the fan base. We all have shortcomings, and we can all benefit from learning, growing, and doing better. <3 Crunch Crunch
Long time listener. I’ve noticed over the years that the quality of the podcast suffers when they go on tour. Lindsey seems disinterested in what Bobby has to say and generally over a lot of topics they cover. Bobby tends to ramble on like he’s trying to figure out a way to get Lindsey to engage in good banter. Maybe putting together the live show, doing two shows a week and the Patreon content is too much? I’d rather less episodes if the quality of the show went back up.
