Wilderness · Derrick Dixon
by Derrick Dixon
Whitetail Research is a podcast about figuring out what deer actually do, not what we think they do. Hosted by Derrick Dixon, the show delves into real-world observations, fieldwork, and long-term whitetail research, utilizing drones, maps, and time spent on the ground. We talk movement, bedding, pressure, access, and the small details that separate patterns from guesswork. It’s part science, part experience, and a lot of honest conversation, built for hunters and land managers who want to understand deer a little better every season.

I could listen to Derrick for hours. His content is interesting, podcasts are well organized with just a touch of humor. REALLY entertaining, thanks for sharing your research.
Derrick captured my attention immediately his research and demeanor around whitetail research is much different than anyone else out there. The questions he seeks answers for all us hunters have thought about while sitting in a tree. Keep it up look forward to more podcast and YouTube videos.
