First off, I owe you guys an apology. I honestly thought I had already left a review, and I’m embarrassed to realize I hadn’t. That’s long overdue. I’ve spent years in the home service industry, and I can say without hesitation that Waste No Day is hands-down the best podcast available for anyone who wants to become a better technician, salesperson, leader, or simply a better person. What separates Nate and Brian from everyone else is that they don’t just motivate you; they equip you. Every episode is packed with practical ideas, real-world experience, and actionable techniques that you can implement on your very next call. There isn’t any fluff or empty hype. It’s honest conversations from two guys who are still in the trenches and genuinely care about making this industry better. I’ve listened to every single episode (even the early ones…) and Waste No Day has become my default whenever I’m driving between appointments. These guys have been in my passenger seat for countless hours, challenging my thinking, sharpening my communication, improving my leadership, and reminding me that our job isn’t to “sell” people; it’s to serve them at the highest level. What I appreciate most is that they never lose sight of the bigger picture. Yes, they teach sales. Yes, they teach leadership. But underneath it all, they’re teaching integrity, accountability, professionalism, and how to build a career (and a life) you can be proud of. Whether you’re brand new to the trades or have decades of experience, you’ll find yourself taking notes, replaying episodes, and immediately applying what you learn. If you’re willing to put their advice into practice, it will absolutely change the way you approach your customers, your team, your career, and your personal life. Brian and Nate, thank you for everything you pour into this industry every single week. The impact you’re making reaches far beyond ticket averages and closing percentages. You’re helping build better technicians, better leaders, better companies, and better people. Keep doing what you’re doing. I’ll be listening every Monday. Thank you. - Joe Buth A1 Garage Door Service
I’ve been listening to Waste No Day for a couple of years now, and it really has made a difference in my career. I’ve applied so much of what I’ve learned in the field and had great conversations with other technicians because of it. The information can truly change your career and your life, and the fact that it’s free is incredible. I especially appreciate the connection to faith. Thanks, Nate and Brian, for all you do!
Five staaaaaars. Brian and Nate provide one of the most well rounded and in depth sales training podcasts in the industry. I listen to waste no day just about every day I’m in the car between calls. The stuff they teach can be taken away and implemented instantly on the next call you go to. Last weeks episode “Stop pitching before you lose the sale” helped me rethink my approach and get out of a bad headspace to come into this month strong. I’m currently at the most revenue for the month in my team, and I aim to keep it that way. I have been a comfort advisor in HVAC for 2 years this month, and I would not have nearly the amount of success I have today if I wasn’t shown Waste no Day. Keep up the great work guys. I discovered the Waste No Day podcast about a year ago, and it has had a tremendous impact on both my professional growth and leadership journey. As a female leader in the trades industry, there are times when I’ve faced challenges navigating growth, confidence, and team development. Nate and Brian have provided a solid foundation of knowledge, leadership principles, and practical processes that I have been able to implement within my plumbing and electrical departments. What I appreciate most is that the content isn’t just motivational, it is actionable. The training, coaching, and systems they share are easy to understand, easy to teach, and easy for technicians to apply in the field. Because of that, I’ve been able to help my team grow not only as technicians, but as people. If you’re looking to build a stronger team, improve your leadership skills, and create a culture of continuous growth, this podcast is an invaluable resource. I’m grateful for the impact it has had on me, my team, and our success. I wish I could give 10 stars!!!
