I loved every second of this podcast. Thank you for making it so informative and entertaining. Jeff Wright is a storyteller I would definitely listen to again.

Each episode's action is articulated for modern listeners in terms of humor, context, history and relevant Bronze Age social dynamics. And with this unabashedly positive recommendation I leave listeners to choose for themselves to enjoy the additional history lectures concluding each story or to let the kids skip ahead to the next chapter of History's MOST AWESOME and CAPTIVATING epic podcast!

He is an intriguing storyteller, but his crutch of using the word “Well” in every single sentence began to drive me crazy. Often times he uses that word multiple times within the same sentence, deploying it as one would a comma. Maybe it’s just me, but it began to wear me down as I listened to his storytelling and soon enough, I found myself fixated on his insistent and constant use of this crutch word.

Hi Jeff, I just finished Trojan War the podcast. I wanted to thank you for making such a high quality piece of storytelling. I have always been fascinated by greek antiquity but never thought I was smart enough to fully grasp the depth of the stories. Your storytelling made it not only digestible but truly enjoyable and memorable. I got into the habit of of listening to the episodes on my lunch break at work, I currently work retail at an insanely busy store. It was truly a special moment when I got to escape the weekend shopping craziness and escape to Mt. Olympus, Troy or the Greek encampment on the beaches of Troy. I also want to thank you for all the amazing lessons and stories from the post-episode commentary. It made me see the whole episode in a completely different way. I truly believe your podcast is the most complete and in depth account of the epic. Hollywood can never seem to grasp the entirety of the story. But you did.
