wrt matters of our current political environment, this podcast is my go to when i need to be (1) re-invigorated to take action (2) be splashed with cold facts (3) given historical perspective of present national maladies (4) reminded of what true patriotism looks like and (5) warned of the real threat our nation’s facing. mr. schmidt’s warnings are always arresting and chilling. he speaks wisely, concisely and methodically. we should all take heed.

Regular listener but just had to thank you Steve for the pure poetry you crafted on today’s episodes (March 8, 2024), Walt Whitman would be proud! I sincerely appreciate every show, your candor, your insights and analyses, but your calling out of that shameful, hypocritical farce of a response by the GOP may have been your Gettysburg address. Short, succinct, and powerful. Thanks brother.

Steve’s commentary is forceful and funny. But the loud commercials that interrupt him randomly in the middle of a sentence make this podcast unlistenable. Unsubscribing because of the ads.

I enjoy Steve and his thoughtful analysis, but I can’t listen to this podcast. The ads are inserted with no consideration of the content, sometimes appearing literally in the middle of a sentence! Ugh.
