While I look forward to listening to this podcast each week, and hearing prospective on many of the games that I watch over the weekend, I have to disagree with you this week. The rivalry game between Minnesota and Wisconsin was well hyped by Wisconsin on social media, as are all of their games. Fans consistently interact with Wisconsin social media (and attend games - home and away) at a high level. Games are not free as you mentioned in other schools, sell out in minutes, resale for $100 over face value, and people lineup in negative temperatures to get a good seat. I feel like you too brush over the magic that is happening there too quickly. I have heard this talked about on other Podcasts but not in your weekly reviews. Maybe some of the focus for attendance and engagement should be talked about at Wisconsin and how that can be replicated across the USCHO. Also, I appreciated both of your prospectives but please stop talking over Todd so we can hear both.

While I appreciate the effort by USCHO to have a show about NCAA division 1 women’s hockey, it may make sense to rename the show. The majority of each episode is focused on WCHA. If you are hoping to have a show for all of women’s ice hockey perhaps bring in folks to interview or figure out another way to have the show reflect the breadth of the full league. We listen every week and feel increasingly surprised on the bias of coverage on teams/players from WCHA. It seems the hosts only watch WCHA games.
