Luke presents his thoughts and analysis of world news/events. Far too often I find myself thinking the same words that then come from his mouth. Our thoughts are so parallel and he has inspired my own podcast platform.
There is not a single person doing what Luke does. He has a great way of sprinkling a positive attitude and comedy on even the most dark of topics. He knows when to be serious, and knows when to be funny. Luke is probably my favorite political commentator currently. I listen to every one of his shows. I wish I could afford the bonus show lol
Luke Beasley is such a treasure. He can deliver the most upsetting news in a light way that truly makes keeping up to date with current events a bearable and often fun experience. My (gay) husband coined the nickname PolitiTwink and always asks me about what he had to say when he comes home from work. Keep it up, y’all!!
Edit: dudes, chill out on the sound effects. It’s really over the top. If I could knock it down half a star for that, i would. The podcast is made up of multiple videos from throughout the week that came from YouTube. Usually, by the time I listen to the episode, I’ve already watched the videos on YouTube. Fortunately, Luke is cognizant that he will also be putting these in podcast form and is courteous enough to describe pictures-in-picture videos that that are playing. I don’t mind the recap, because so much is happening all the time right now. Luke is well spoken, he is good hearted, and empathetic and thoughtful in his commentary. I’m amazed at how youthful he is for his wisdom and insight. Keep up the good work!
Excellent show that demonstrates how dangerously close we are to dictatorship—or perhaps already there. However, it may be too naive for older or more politically aware listeners. While informed listeners know Epstein didn’t commit suicide, the show glosses over his connections to powerful figures and the serious allegations surrounding them.
