Been listening for a few weeks. Has the potential to be 70% as good as the now defunct Ink Stained Wretches. Thought Dan was okay at first, now I’ve grown to have a high level of appreciation for him. Rachael does great with playing the center mid independent role and asks good and great questions for which I really would like the answers for. Example. March 16 episode, asks Sean essentially “Do you think Trump/ Trump Administration regrets going into Iran?” Spicer goes on a four minute filibuster without answering the question. Not five minutes later, referring to something else and says “If you are explaining, you are losing.” And said with no hint of irony. We have he gets out of his own way, and stops playing his old role as Trump Apologist (cough) Press Secretary, the show is very close to five stars.
Get ahead of today’s news & politics (there’s always politics!) with Dan, Rachael, & Sean! Fast-moving discussion about the things that will make a difference. Hear opinions from both sides in a constructive manner.
I like hearing both points of view and some “inside baseball” that Sean and Dan have. They are each well informed and involved. Rachel is wonderful too! This format is a nice approach. Interesting!
Love the political discourse without all the drama in between. Was a big fan of Dan and Sean on the morning meeting. Wish you guys would've said where you were going. I just finally found you again! Haven't listened to MM since the boys left, but looking forward to hearing your takes on politics, moving forward
I’ve listened to Shawn and Dan since back in the Mark Halperin days and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed their discussion. However, Sean has simply surrendered the debate the last week or so. Dan has repeated every rumor about the Iranian war and then discussed how horrible the war . is, assuming every bad “next step” possible. And Sean just remains quiet. I love their discussion because it was “fair and balanced”, but, if Sean can’t make a stronger case, you should replace him or I should find another podcast. Thank you for reading my POV.
