The show selects a cadre of speakers on a narrow range in terms of political agenda and worldview. It does little to nothing to challenge speakers views or compare them to contrasting opinions. This would have been fine if the show would have worn it’s political agenda on its sleeve, but it clearly does not. Dan often congratulates his guests on the articles the wrote with the affiliate magazine, confirming his identification with their views.

This podcast would be better served to challenge, not amplify, the assertion that collateral civilian death is an acceptable necessity and fait accompli in times of war. While the interview is disgusting, it does highlight well the reductive acceptance of an unhinged, dehumanized military and anti democratic response to terror.
