What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Love the podcast, it has open my eyes to a lot of things that I was afraid to ask other BJJ practitioners. Love and recommend 100%.

I want to chime in real fast to say…I’ve had a vague idea of who Chewy was as a Wookiee-esque jiujitsu black belt coach with a beard. I hadn’t actually watched any videos in years but I was compelled to listen to the podcast as I was making progress on my own jiujitsu journey, but also having a training camp for an upcoming kickboxing fight, the sport I’m actually more competitive in. Spoiler Alert for me- I did not win my fight, BUT around episodes 15-21…that range, there’s a lot of good positive and healthy mindset and training tips and things that particularly have to do with competitions and I found them very helpful. Tho it’s years in the past from when it first aired, Chewy and Eugene and guests definitely are entertaining and fun and have some helpful tips for training and competing and I am definitely becoming more of a fan and looking forward to hearing more episodes! Thank you and good luck on your own journey!

Started Jiu-Jitsu a few years ago and got interrupted by the pandemic and injury. Finally back training and this podcast is part of the reason why. Listening to a down-to-earth guy with his guests motivates me to get right back to training. Thank You! Keep getting after it!!

Love the content on both the podcast and YouTube. Always a good listen and never feel like you’re dumb or inferior for being a lower belt.
