The bookishbanterpodcast is so much fun to listen to! Kearsten and Tatyana are hilarious and so relatable. There have been many times where I’m at work laughing right along with these two. It’s so nice to have an opportunity to read books and then reflect back on them with this podcast. Definitely a Go-To listen! Check them out!

I can’t for the life of me remember how I stumbled across this podcast but I saw the title for the recent one about ACOTAR and had to listen to it.
I love how they go into detail about the book and expresses their opinions and their thoughts while reading the book. I found myself saying “OMG that’s what I said” ALOT. There’s also a lot of things that I didn’t think about that they brought up and talked about. I love hearing the different perspectives. And their reasoning for liking/not liking a character.
I don’t have anyone that I can talk to about this series and it’s my absolute favorite to read so I’m excited on hearing about the next books.
Based off this 1 episode, I will definitely being going back to listen to all the others.

Let me start by saying Tatyana and Kearsten are amazing humans. More then that they put their heart and soul and time and energy into this podcast. They also don’t pull any punches and give it to you straight which can be uncomfortable if they are covering a book you love (ahem you know what book I’m talking about). If you want just a plot recap/summary this isn’t for you but if you want to feel like you’re talking about books to your best friends then I highly recommend this podcast!!

I hate writing negative reviews, but this podcast was nothing what I thought it would be. I was excited to hear recommendations about books and discussions and whatnot. Instead, I made it through 45 minutes of an approximately 1.5 - 2 hour show and the word “like” was used every other word. Minimal discussion about books and the interview seemed more geared about TikTok and other social media things. I heard maybe two short references to books during this whole time. Overall, the girls sounded too young and immature for me, and lacking substance. I felt like I was listening to tweens at a sleepover. I had to unfollow. I’m disappointed, because I was really looking for a good podcast for book lovers and was excited, thinking I had found one. I guess I’ll keep looking.

I really wanted to like this and was excited to listen to a fun podcast that discussed ACOTAR. Obviously everyone’s opinion is allowed to be different and this is their podcast where the point is to express their opinion and debate. However, I came on here to listen about a book series I love and find joy from it and instead it was just so negative. I could pick out maybe 2 positive things that they said the whole time and I had to turn it off after feeling a little sad. Again, to each their own. But my purpose for tuning in was to listen about something I love and find joy from the discussion and instead of was just negative.
