I came across this show a few months ago and it quickly became the show I tune into every episode of. I’ve learned a lot about the hobby from these guys and really enjoy the sprinkle of non sports that Jesse provides. All of that being said, Mike’s slander of Ryan Gosling is unacceptable along with not mentioning arguably his greatest film ever, Drive.

At its best, this is fun, informative banter about sports and sports/non-sports cards between 2 friends (Jessie and Mike) with drastically different interests and backgrounds. Their personal difference is their strength. For that reason, the Podcast is different than any other in the sports card hobby world. It can be absolutely tremendous. But at its worst, it’s Mike & Mike 2.0, where they ultimately allow their interpersonal animosity to ruin an otherwise great dynamic between the two. Personally hoping they can hold things together to continue a great thing.

Both Mike and Jesse are absolute rockstars for the hobby. Entertaining, informative, and a much needed distraction during long drives to work. The banter is fun and reminds me of family events with my own brothers. When will we see a non-sport and sport break featuring Mike AND Jesse???? The group needs a split screen double feature.

Show has so much going for it, however Mike is unbearable. He is arrogant, interrupts everyone, and makes a great show unlistenable. It’s unfortunate because Jesse is phenomenal.
