This is the most beautiful show. Like some other reviewers, I really like Ego’s work and all these wonderful performers and I thought these would be light funny interviews. The tone is very light and comfortable and conversational, but these are also deep and thought provoking discussions that have made me think so much about my own parents and how I parent now. Each episode I learn something profound. I really enjoyed listening to Ego and her guests and getting to know them through their perspectives on family. It’s outstanding, so well done. Thank you!

I really enjoy this podcast because being raised by a single mom and not knowing my dad at all, I can totally relate. Ego is so open and honest with her feelings and her step-in father figures bring a lot of insight and joy to the discussion. Thanks Ego for creating this space ❤️

I am tired of true crime and politics this podcast is personal and prescient for just about anyone! As a father of a 6 year old, and a high school teacher, this is raising new questions and considerations for me! It is funny, honest, and naturally shows off Ego’s brilliance.

I’m a dad to a 32 year old daughter who has severe autism, so I don’t get to do a lot of the typical dad things with her! My daughter and I still have a great relationship, and we bond over similar interests. 

Still, it’s great to hear you and your guests talk through various situations! In spite of your unfortunate experience with your dad, you’ve managed to have a great ‘dad centric’ podcast that’s really fun and also officially Dad approved!
