I was already a big ego fan but this brought me in on a new level! It’s a really uplifting look at life from a fresh perspective. I especially love the harry shum episode! He’s a great guy and an amazing dad and probably not old enough to be ego dad but they joke about that. It’s a really fun interview that looks at family dynamics and so much more. So so enjoyable!
I really enjoy this podcast because being raised by a single mom and not knowing my dad at all, I can totally relate. Ego is so open and honest with her feelings and her step-in father figures bring a lot of insight and joy to the discussion. Thanks Ego for creating this space ❤️
This is the most beautiful show. Like some other reviewers, I really like Ego’s work and all these wonderful performers and I thought these would be light funny interviews. The tone is very light and comfortable and conversational, but these are also deep and thought provoking discussions that have made me think so much about my own parents and how I parent now. Each episode I learn something profound. I really enjoyed listening to Ego and her guests and getting to know them through their perspectives on family. It’s outstanding, so well done. Thank you!
I initially listened to this because I’m a fan of Ego from SNL. This is such a thoughtful, interesting show about being a child and having children, having parents and being a parent. And it’s cool to see the more serious side of favorite comedians. Thank you Ego!
