The first episode about Will Owsley was fantastic! I learned so many things, and it was really entertaining from start to finish. I just met Jonas the other day, so hearing him on the podcast was a cool surprise. Also Will’s son Walker, who I’ve known for a couple of weeks recommended this podcast to me, and I’m so glad he did! The episode was really well put together, and I’m excited to dive into the rest that come out. I highly recommend giving it a listen! -AG

Jonas put together an amazing first episode of his new podcast Stories and Sounds. The first episode features the story of Will Owsley, an amazing musician, songwriter, and producer that left all of us that new of him shocked by his passing. The podcast features his son Walker, and former bandmate and friends, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, and Ben Folds. They shared stories of both Will’s passion and sometimes obsession for being a perfectionist. Some of the stories made you smile, and some brought tears. The episode ends with the Owsley family emptying out a storage locker that has not been opened since Will’s passing. Extremely emotional, heartbreaking, and also relieving. This episode could have been 5 hours long and I would have sat there wanting more. Jonas did an amazing job putting this small, but informative story together.

I love true crime investigative podcasts but don’t always want to consume the darker content. I LOVE what Jonas has done in creating a cozy, feel-good storytelling atmosphere with the same level of detail and production. I can’t wait for the rest of the season!

What a great show - Jonas strings together music, interviews, and detailed historical research to bring a compelling and engaging narrative to my ear holes. Looking forward to more stories and more sounds!
