Every night before bed, I’ll come downstairs to reflect on the day in prayer, and I’ll start by listening to this. It’s a great way to calm the mind after the chaos of the day, and Piper is an amazing teacher.

This is where I begin each day. Before I can take the time to get physically set up to read the Word, Before I can even turn my mind to the worries of the day ahead, Desiring God is there EACH day of the week to turn my mind to my Father in Heaven and to better prepare me for anything that I may encounter. It’s a quick listen, so in just a few minutes, my heart is turned to righteousness and not to what the tempter throws. Thank you, John Piper! God has blessed me and many others because of your life ministry!

Every time I listen to Pastor John, I weep and am moved to prayer and worship. I am grateful for a true father in the Faith who exhibits great love, passion and kindness as he diligently and carefully…in fear and trembling, yet in great joy…delivers God’s gracious Word and encouragement to each of us.
