Five stars for the content, but episodes have recently started out with Scott or the guest in the middle of a sentence, so it seems like the first few minutes or so are getting cut out.
I learn so much from every interview. You will hear from journalists, analysts, investigators, researchers, and historians. Nearly every international geopolitical topic gets covered and even domestic security and civili liberties related issues.
If you want insight in trying to make sense of why the United States continues to make decisions that can generously be described as “counterproductive,” this is a must-listen. Scott does an incredible job of helping connect the dots in what seems like an increasingly insane world through his interviews with some of the most informed people on this earth.
Absent Scott Horton I would have no idea what is really going on in US foreign policy. Fortunately we do have Scott Horton’s podcast and his wonderful books. So I do have a source to understand what’s really happening with US foreign policy. Keep up the great work! Jul 2023: still the best in foreign policy. Also, keep producing your great books! I listen to every one.
