Greg (Opie Hughs) was spot on with his takes today . I was laughing the entire episode. From Rob Snider through Trump, he nailed it. It may be the funniest episode I have heard from Opie & Ron (esp. Opie) maybe ever Negs: Still too many commercials & too much talking over each other. I will always support the show. (⚡️);}🌹 Best, Chris-AKA: “💎 Dust”.
The replays of old shows are good, but the new shows are awful! It’s listening to the remnants to a once great radio show - and podcast before Vic and Carl passed away - spiral into serious mental illness. The screaming, uninformed position on all things, and a so-called comic who isn’t funny make the show unlistenable. If it wasn’t for the old material I wouldn’t even pay any attention to it.
I have been a fan since then old Opie and Anthony fans. I was even a fan at the beginning of this podcast, but what it has turned in to since the untimely deaths of Carl Ruiz and Vic Henley is just terrible. Opie is struggling so hard to be relevant and it is kind of sad to see. He just isn’t funny and he tries to hard to give commentary on stuff and he doesn’t realize we don’t care about his opinion. Hardly anyone knows who he is anymore and all the old fans have moved on to listening to podcasts of talented and funny people. This just isn’t it.
