Really enjoyed his interview with Gov. Newsom, shows Martin truly studies up before the event which feels rare in today’s podcast format. Keep em coming!
I am enjoying the podcast but Jonathon Martin is terrible. He keeps interrupting the person he is interviewing. Ask the question and let the person answer it. The podcast is not about him.
The absence of Ryan Lizza has never been more glaring. Lizza was one of the most engaging interviewers of our time. JMart’s ingratiating yeahs and yeps, and the barrage of statements instead of questions, and the lack of contextual setup even for those leaves much to be desired. He’s getting his sea legs here, but darn, what a self-inflicted wound dropping Lizza.
