I recently became the executive Director of a nonprofit, which was a new environment for me. Brad’s podcast was an excellent resource. He shares a wealth of information in a very practical and accessible way.

I have recently finished my bachelors degree in communication arts my favorite part of my coursework during my degree was nonprofit and since I have committed myself to finding a role in the nonprofit sector, I am a busy working professional currently and I find listening to podcasts on the way to work or walking. My dog is helpful for me and when I found this podcast, it really gave me a lot more of the nuts and bolts of nonprofit. I was looking for a deeper dive and I sure found it. Thank you Brad for sending me the slides. And for putting this podcast out there for those of us that want to take a deeper look, it has been very helpful.

I’m about to start helping my husband start and manage a nonprofit. When he decided to start this nonprofit, my first thought was “where do we begin”, and were feeling a bit overwhelmed because this will be a huge undertaking. I searched for books or podcasts about nonprofit management and immediately found this podcast/course. After only listening for one day, I already gotten so much out of it. It felt like one of those beautiful moments in life where you have a need that feels huge and then it turns out someone has already thought of others who might have this need and provided a treasure trove of helpful information and wisdom. Now I am about halfway through the course. I have thoroughly enjoyed each episode and I’m learning so much. Some episodes I have listened to twice, and I imagine I want to go back and listen to all the episodes while taking notes. This is an incredible free resource and a must listen for anyone who is starting a nonprofit, or wants to get a greater understanding of how they operate.
