An adventure podcast about chasing powder on skis and snowboards in winter, hunting singletrack loam on mountain bikes in summer, profiling the “core lords” of the outdoors in the Lake Tahoe region and fostering the culture of mountain life through education and experience in the Sierra Nevada and Great Basin.
A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.
While Tahoe/Sierra centric, the issues facing backcountry users are universal and these dudes discuss those topics in an entertaining, non-gatekeeping, non d-bag kind of way. Keep up the good work boys.
In a word, fantastic. This is a wonderful podcast, and a fine piece of journalism. I am a mountain biker, and a very beginning snowboarder, but I have absolutely no connection to the Sierra or the Great Basin areas. Nevertheless, this podcast proves to be entertaining, insightful, wise, and entertaining in each and every episode. It also is a wonderful education, not only for these geographic areas, but also for the backcountry in general. It also is a wonderful education for the sports of skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, E-mountain biking, snowmobiling, and just being a good person. Keep up the good work. Bravo!
I was a bit hesitant to write a review because I kind of wanted to keep it a secret. But definitely in my top 5 favorite podcasts, and I’m a podcast junky. If your into Mountain biking, snow sports or traveling the Western US then it’s a must listen. Especially if you ever visit the Sierra/Lost Sierra region of California.
Mind the Track has become one of my favorite podcasts. Funny, informative, thoughtful and hip for a couple old guys, Mind the Track is DOPE for anyone who enjoys seeking out pow (be it cold smoky or brown) on the track less travelled.
