I’ve listened to quite a number of DnD lore podcasts and some 40k ones and few of the latter have I held my attention. The format of the podcast is fantastic and well organized. The interplay between the hosts is particularly good and I love the questions and casual, clarifying summaries. I’ve been telling more folks about the podcast because it stands out.
What a fantastic show. It’s funny, it’s informative. If you are new to 40k, like me, and want a guy who REALLY knows a lot about the world to tell you about it, this is for you. I’ve learned so much, and it’s digestible and approachable considering the scope of the 40k lore/universe. I couldn’t find for the life of me find a show that did what this one does. A true introduction, like a friend is telling you about it. Oh.. did I mention it’s funny? The intros are a blast. Can’t rave enough about this show. Look forward to more. My one critique that I’ll hide down here, is one episode per month is a very drawn out cadence. Once every 2 weeks would be awesome! But I’m being a bit selfish.
I recently started playing 40K, and am interested in learning more about the world that it exists in. These guys make the content digestible, and keep me entertained for the entire time. It’s the right mix of lore and fun, and it feels like they really enjoy each other and what they’re doing. I’m hooked.
This podcast is genuinely hilarious. I listen to comedy podcast regularly and nothing even comes close. They perfectly mix both Warhammer lore and comedic banter which locks the listener in. Ill be around for awhile guys
I was enjoying the show, it has very knowledgeable (and by the standards of amateurs) listenable hosts. Then I got to the episode with the bizarre five minute skit about how the arch-villain of the setting is “woke” and says things like “Terran Lives Matter.” It was such a bizarre attempt at humor it’s not even totally clear what they were trying to do, other than make limp jokes desperately trying to be edgy. Anyway, that’s when I stopped listening.
