Jazz and America

by WUCF JAZZ

In honor of America's 250th birthday, WUCF Jazz explores the 100 plus years of America's "classical music" – JAZZ – and illustrates how jazz is a part of the American story.  In this narrative style broadcast and digital series, the listeners take the spotlight by giving voice to what jazz means to them. The series highlights Jazz's timeless artists and songs that have gifted America's original musical style to the world. Starting Tuesday, January 6, the 26-week series will feature a new episode each week that will air multiple times each week on 89.9 FM in the Orlando area, and the most recent installment will be available weekly on this page,
