Japan Experts is more than a podcast, it’s an invitation to understand your own values, priorities, and what matters most to you and your family when planning a trip to Japan. Miyuki guides you through reflecting on your time, needs, and interests, and then helps you shape a truly meaningful, once-in-a-lifetime trip. Creating a genuine experience, that would be impossible to create using AI. After listening to Miyuki for years and learning from her thoughtful approach to Japan travel planning, we finally hired her in person, and we couldn’t be happier. She is the real deal. Miyuki practices what she teaches, is an exceptional listener, builds trust with ease, and executes with a level of care and precision I’ve never experienced before. She is worth your time to listen to and if the opportunity presents itself, consider hiring to be apart of your journey.
Miyuki is so helpful when planning a trip to Japan! Her podcast serves an excellent guide for all things Japan! Her planning guide is also a great tool! Miyuki has helped me feel more confident in my itinerary for my upcoming trip!
it’s super helpful to just hear someone from japan talking about travel topics. miyuki in particular is very knowledgeable and reached out to me first after i followed her instagram. her proactivity and wealth of experience is much appreciated during my planning!
This is really a podcast gem for planning a trip to Japan. Miyuki has episodes that answer basically every question that has gone through my head planning an upcoming trip to Japan like getting a JR pass, visiting Kanazawa, and Japanese history. The format is super concise and digestible which I appreciate because I don’t have as much time to listen to podcasts as I would like. Plus the little jingle is adorable!
The episodes I listened to were rarely more than an advertisement to hire her as a guide or consultant and gave no free advice about specific sites in Japan to visit, especially in Kyoto, where there are hundreds of temples and gardens open to the public almost daily. Time is far better spent visiting Japan-guide.com and watching their videos on YouTube, or reading the dozens and dozens of quality articles and itineraries on travelcaffeine.com. If you prefer podcasts, the best I have found is the Siteseeing Japan podcast, which provides a ton of free information and inspiration for planning your trip.
