I found this show from listening to SCN and i have to say, i listen to this one more now. I’ve learned so much about non-sports cards and the various markets that exist for collecting. Really appreciate this show.
Just like Sports Cards Nonsense is the best Sportscard podcast, the Hobby Nonsense podcast is the best Non-sportscard podcast. I love hearing about not just cards but other collectibles as well! The pod focuses on a lot Pokémon, but also throws in discussions about Marvel, Disney, Star Wars, WWE, and more…all with a lot of humor and other nonsense mixed in. Definitely makes my commutes to and from work much better! Thanks for the entertainment Jesse and Solar Ray!!
This is, by far, the most entertaining podcast I listen to each week. Jesse and Ray have a great relationship and play off of each other really well. I’ve been more of a sports card collector through the years, but this podcast (coupled with the card breaks) have turned me to the non-sport side of things. As a day 1 listener to this podcast, as well as the original SCN pod, I can always count on Jesse to bring the enthusiasm while taking a pragmatic approach to the business side of cards. Can’t say enough great things. Check out Hobby Nonsense card breaks, too. The community that Jesse has built there is absolutely second to none. All the regulars are great people who are fun and supportive of one another. Thanks for all you do, Jesse and Ray!
I was not really into non sports cards but have found this pod informative and helpful in learning about products and getting ideas on what I might want to collect myself. I came here/found this show from listening to “This week in Reselling” which is also hosted by Ray , which has not had any new episodes, what’s up with that SolarRay?
