Come on! Can’t get any better, love how it hits the highs and acknowledges the lows. Every episode is so true to Philly fandom form. We love this team, and don’t let them off the hook! All the hosts make this such a great environment to visit before or after a game to feel connected to those fightin’ vibes. Thank you to the team that brings us this podcast!!! Go Phils!!
It's tough being a Phillies fan in Texas, but this show makes me feel connected to the Phillies community and a part of everything that is going on with the team. All three of y'all're great and I always learn a huge amount of fascinating stats and history that help me put things into context. Although I've been closely following the team for over a decade, only missing twenty to thirty games in a season, I don't feel like I was actually a knowledgeable fan until I started listening to y'all. Love it all, including Justin's other shows on Patreon, and hope that y'all keep it up for years to come!
One of my favorite podcasts to listen to year-round. Would love to see a 2x a month episode devoted to analysis of player stats during the season or maybe feature episodes on players/coaching staff during the off-season.
Prob my fave Phillies podcast. Great mix of information and entertainment, and the pod is blowhard free which is key for me.
I enjoy the solo shows, but cannot stand when the woman Liz is on. She’s trying too hard. It’s a podcast, there’s no need to react, audibly to everything, laugh loudly and talk so much. It’s distracting and annoying. Worse than her is the guy Justin. Here are all the ways he’s terrible. 1. He’s often much louder than his cohosts in mic volume, then raises his voice, on top of being louder. 2. His newsy, newsman, radio inflections are awful and annoying. 3. He’s incredibly snarky, and comments on professional baseball players with such contempt as if he’s had some sort of remarkable career. 4. He interrupts everyone, ALL THE TIME! 5. It’s okay to let others make their point. It’s childish to follow up everyone’s point with “I was gonna say that” The more I listen, the more I realize, I just don’t like the snark and schtick. The host and guests are all very knowledgeable, and the content as actually good. If they just played straight, instead of trying to be personalities, this would be five stars and great.
