I loved the Joanna Scanlan episode. I found it refreshing to have a slightly older person’s perspective. So many of the Gen X and Millennial answers are similar. I like having new film recommendations. Thanks for doing the pod!

I found this quite late in its existence. I already subscribe to other film podcasts, so was uncertain about this, as they can become redundant. Also being in the film business, some things can just feel monotonous, but I really love this. Very simple conversation about films across the many different facets of our emotions in which we watch them. Also it has introduced me to some films that I have never come across before which I am always a fan of. Equally, it has reminded me to revisit certain films, as the situation, state of mind or outside circumstances might have skewed my original view. Try everything twice (or more).

This podcast is so good in ways it has no right to be good. I’m alternately weeping and laughing while walking the dog? What is this? Brett Goldstein, you sneaky rascal, Barbara Walters has nothin’ on you. “Let’s talk about death and movies,” he casually suggests. And then proceeds to demonstrate that those two topics apparently make up the Venn diagram that encompasses the entire universe. Oh and it’s funny. Go figure.
