Listening to Jason and Jimmy is such a comfort thing - it’s like listening to a couple uncles talk about the Wars in a fashion I was brought up in. It’s separate from the way media is discussed on most public forums and as a young kid in my 20’s, it’s such a relief there’s still people that care like these guys. Been listening since 2019 and a Patreon member since 2023 (best idea I’ve ever had). As a Midwest guy, I feel right at home. Cheers guys

Traveling at lightspeed from the planet that is farthest from, Jason and Jimmy Mac continue on a new adventure in leaving "no fan behind". Already Jedi Knights in the ways of the force, the hosts of RFR will always bring fascinating commentary, humor, and a sense of community for all Star Wars fans. This is the podcast you are looking for. I have a great feeling about this. Update to review: I have listened to these guys from the beginning and the quality has only gotten better over the years. Talking Star Wars is what they do and they have a forum that allows for different views. They have guests/news that agree and disagree with their personal opinion, but keep it fair and present both sides. I have actually had the honor of meeting these guys and they are a class act and always for the fans of Star Wars regardless of where they come from or what Star Wars they like. Update to review (2026): comfort food for the soul. As the years continue to tick by, I feel I have a home with RFR. These guys know Star Wars, love Star Wars and feel the same way I do about it. They are constantly coming up with new content so I always have something to feed my hunger for Star Wars. If you are looking for a consistent podcast with years of content and enjoyment with a great listening experience and fan base, then look no further than here. I’ve been listening to RFR since November of 2020 when I was 12 years old. Now, this Christmas time, I find myself cooped up with COVID and I’m finding it so rewarding to go back and listen to episodes from 2015 and the lead up to the release of The Force Awakens and through those episodes finding a window to when I was a little kid. Thanks guys and keep them coming!

Jason and Jimmy love the Star Wars community. Their episodes “Declassified” breaking each Clone Wars and Rebels episode are superb. It is a weekly chat with friends to discuss the Star Wars community. What I respect is that they share their opinions, have their favorites, but never belittle others for loving something different.

I was searching for a podcast for me and my Star Wars obsessed 8 year old son to listen to on the way to and from school. Needless to say — this ain’t it! Only listened to portions of a few episodes before it was apparent that the show isn’t very appropriate for a young enthusiastic fan or a casual OG fan like myself as it isn’t very analytical or idea based. The content of the hosts opinions aside, he was quickly bored by a show that is basically a couple dudes who bury 5min of actual content within 30min of laugh wheezing tangents to conclude that things aren’t the way they used to be, and I was a little embarrassed for having exposed him to the toxic side of SW fandom I’ve heard about but assumed this show couldn’t have been preoccupied with given its longevity. Firmly a podcast for the aggrieved, not the hopeful.

Way too many commercials - not just at the beginning (I could live with that) but then another commercial break about 25 minutes in and 4-5 more commercials. Also, this was the episode about Straighter rumors, and 40 minutes into the podcast and there was nothing about Straighter, which the name of the podcast led me to believe was the main subject. I won’t give this podcast another try.
