I’ve learned so much from this show and from reading Safe House!! Thank you for all you authentically share! I’m a nurse so when you dive into the neuro and the root explanation of emotions, it’s right up my alley.

I will say, Christi is soft spoken and often sounds like she’s so far from the mic and then Josh is louder and sounds right next to the mic 😂 sometimes it’s hard to regulate the volume which listening- I’m always turning up and turning down throughout the episodes. Wondered if I should even share that but figured I would in case it’s helpful. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Christi, it has been no surprise to me after being a student in one of Josh’s classes that I would also be blessed by the work that the two of you do together. Thanks so much for allowing yourself to be vulnerable in the recent Motherhood episodes. The calmness you speak of resonated with me a great deal and I couldn’t agree more that “less is more.” Less of the things that will fade away and more of the eternal is what we all need. I have struggled in seasons keeping such calmness in our home and the intentionality that’s required like getting up before the kids to have time with the Lord as you mention has been essential for me over the years. We homeschooled when our kids were little, so I remember what’s that like to be always “on” and yet you still make time to share your experiences with others…you’re a rockstar! Josh, I always appreciate your focus on the practical applications! I’m glad you pulled out of Christi what obtaining the calm looks like. And worshipping while cooking…this is the best.
Not to make this too long, but one other area that spoke to me recently in the episode where you guys talked about your stay with friends was around the idea of hospitality and not feeling obligated to always be in entertaining or catering mode. I have tended towards such spastic habits in the past and it was helpful to hear someone point out the fact that hosting people doesn’t have to be that way.

I really appreciate your show. I have been listening over the years. Being a military spouse (always moving), homeschooling mama, and trying to raise 4 little humans under the age of 8, I feel this new season you are entering into really resonates with me.

This is by far one of the best if not my favorite podcast. I am so thankful to have found this pod cast through searching YouTube episodes from Jon Tyson Intentional Father book and found one that Famous at Home was interviewing Jon. I have been listen and trying to catch up with all the shows. They all have so much truth and honesty from the show. The transparency they bring to the podcast and pointing everything back to Christ and Gospel centered. I am hoping to one day be able to go to the leader cohort and meet Josh and Christi. Fireman income with four kids and a wife that gets to stay at home is tough to put out $3500 at one time but I am wanting to start saving to be able to go. Because famous at home is what it’s about.
