What the Buddha actually taught goes far deeper than most Dhamma talks suggest. This series moves beyond the familiar surface — beyond "be kind," "let go," "be in the present moment" — into the actual discourses of the Pāli Canon, read the way the Theravāda tradition has always read them: the root text first, then the ancient commentary (Aṭṭhakathā) and sub-commentary (Ṭīkā), each layer added only where it deepens what came before. This season covers the Sīlakkhandhavagga, the Chapter on the Aggregate of Morality: the first thirteen discourses of the Dīgha Nikāya (the Long Discourses of the Buddha), from the Brahmajāla Sutta (DN 1) to the Tevijja Sutta (DN 13). Plain English. No personal interpretation, no opinions — just the discourses opened up, one by one, for anyone willing to go deeper. Presented by Alexander & Serene. Produced by PaliVerse (paliverse.org).
