If you love the great BBC series, The World at War, narrated by Olivier, this will send chills up your spine. Extremely well written, they chose a great narrator in the style of Olivier. The production and sound design supports the story, it doesn’t show off or stand out.

Interesting stories. Well-crafted. Superb. I hope this creative and production team continues through other phases of WWII—or any war or conflict.

Even WW2 history buffs will probably learn something new from this series. The research and writing is top notch. Paul McCann's narration is delivered with the seriousness and pace this subject deserves. He’s one of the best presenters in his field.

By far one of the best story tellers I’ve heard. Draws you in to where you can almost picture being right there in the thick of it.

Absolutely fantastic podcast. I’m so glad I stumbled across it and can’t wait for each episode every week. Well researched, and told with passion. It listens like a story being told and less like a history lesson
