The word ‘artist’ gets thrown around a lot to describe singers, but watching and hearing her over the years has been one of the defining artistic throughlines in my life. Björk is one of the few performers on the international stage who is truly an artist. Listening to this series of podcasts has only deepened my appreciation of her sound and music. So much love. Björk has long been an exciting and extremely talented musician who I have loved entirely. But it wasn’t until I listened to this podcast, where she carefully and passionately explains her work in great detail, that I realized I only knew a fraction of her genius. This podcast is such a delight, I have listened to all of the episodes more than a few times, I just can’t get enough. By far, this is one of the best podcasts I’ve ever listened to and is one that I will listen to again and again.
