If you were around and listening to underground music in the ‘80s, chances are you liked some SST bands, whether or not you knew it. The hosts do their homework and dig deep, bringing a wealth of knowledge to each episode. While I wish they were able to actually play snippets of the music they discuss, I fully understand why they can’t, and I learn new things about some of my favorite bands and discover hidden gems all the time. Great stuff for anyone interested in the roots of underground, DIY, independent music, and a wonderful nostalgia trip for us longtime fans.

The hosts delve deep into the SST vaults – iconic and overlooked albums alike. They’re obviously having a great time with it too. Their enthusiasm for this music is infectious.

The two hosts have a great chemistry. Their research is top notch and they always have on great guests to talk about the catalog of SST.

Listening to these two friends is listening in on a fireside chat. I always feel like I am coming home when I turn it on. The authenticity of their love of SST is second to none.
