Our curated selection of reviews
I should probably write reviews more often for all of the excellent podcasts that I listen to, but unfortunately time is fleeting and I often let something like this fall to the back of the line. Excuse the double negative, but I really can’t get away with NOT writing a review for this one. It’s that good.
I’m a volunteer worship leader for our church and being that those responsibilities fall above and beyond my regular full-time job I don’t have a ton of time to develop my craft and worship leading skills. That’s where this podcast comes in. I listen to it during my daily commute and come away each time being encouraged, fed, and challenged to be a better Christ follower and worship leader.
I love hearing about the stories behind why a particular song was written and I use them to encourage our congregation and talk a bit more about why we’ve chosen a particular song for the week, etc. I also love the practical aspects of the podcast (e.g. anywhere from new tools to use to how to recruit new members to the team).
Lastly, I only discovered this podcast after attending the WT Conference back in 2016. Do whatever you can to attend that conference down in Nashville. It was ministry changing for me and worth every minute.
TL;dr: If you listen to only one podcast to grow in your faith and worship leadership, please make it this one. Can’t rate it high enough! Thank you WT team!

Love the interviews and quick tips. Would appreciate a little more specifics on what each podcast entails rather than just a background on who’s being interviewed.

The interviews on this podcast are really good even though they mostly only ask "softball" type questions. Much of the information is very helpful but I would suggest looking for deep theological truth elsewhere. While this podcast is good, it is only theological milk. Worth a listen though for sure!

I recently discovered this podcast and really enjoy listening to the team talk about how they lead worship. The interviews are also great getting to hear how the artists trust and lean on God.

This used to be a valuable podcast full of insight, tips, song ideas and more by worship leaders for worship leaders. Sorry to hear the format has changed to something less relevant to everyday people doing the work in local churches and supporting the industry as well.
