Windowsill Chats - Podcast Rankings and reviews

I recently found Windowsill Chats through a post by her guest Mary Jo Hoffman. That was a fantastic episode…as have been every other one to which I have listened. I have been prompted with ideas, encouraged when I felt in a rut, and given tips and reminders of next steps. Already this has had a positive effect on how I do what I do, and perspective. First, Margo, let me say how wonderful your podcast is. The variety of creatives you interview is always so inspiring, and your skill as an interviewer is quite impressive. This latest episode with Duncan Wardle is exceptional—it's now in my “saved” file, and I know I’ll be listening to it over and over again.

I don’t often pass along podcasts, as they feel quite personal and subjective—much like books. However, this one was an exception, and I’ve already shared it with others. Thank you for taking the time to seek out such brilliant creative minds and bringing their stories and insights into our lives.

Last night I listened to the latest episode, of Margo talking to her friend Abby about retired Crayola colors, mindmapping, etc. and it was such a pleasant conversation. It was like hearing two interesting creative friends talk about cool things they’ve stumbled upon. I’m eager to hear an upcoming episode they referenced, about a woman creator who’s been off of social media for 2 years and how that has/hasn’t impacted her business. I like the questions Margo asks guests—it’s all the stuff I’d want to ask—and I like that she actually listens to their responses and digs deeper when something is particularly interesting. Great pod!

Thank you Margo for sharing such a wonderful glimpse into creativity and the many paths it can take. I am not a visual artist, but hearing all the twists and turns each artist’s path takes fuels me to continue on my own unique and wild path, even when it doesn’t look like every one else’s.
