As a convert myself from a similar Baptist/Presbyterian/Evangelical/Nazarene/Methodist background, one of the most common sources I’ve found for misunderstandings is vocabulary. Protestants use different vocabulary than Catholics. The Catholic Church is the source of all graces and all truth is contained within—but there is salvation outside of the Church, those folks just won’t have the fullness of truth. They will also be missing the Eucharist, Reconciliation, and so much more. This podcast uses that Protestant vocabulary to help explain the truths of Catholicism. I related so much to having discovered that much of what I “knew” about Catholics from Protestants and discovering the actual truth when I began to learn about the Church from the Church! Thank you for this podcast!

Justin does so well teaching with great clarity. Just when I might think to ask a question, Justin would say, “ Now I know what you might be thinking…and here’s what I have to say about that.” Great podcast!

Great, well worded and concise podcast!
As a fully convinced Protestant, I don’t come to the same conclusions as Justin. However, I appreciate his easy to understand style and desire to communicate Catholicism and its vocabulary to someone like me.
I agree with Justin that in many Protestant circles, falsehoods on Catholicism abound. While we definitely don’t agree on everything, I would highly recommend this podcast to anyone interested in gaining awareness of a Catholic worldview.
