An amazing set of stories from a community under attack from the broader culture and the AIDS pandemic. This podcast has taught me a lot about LGBTQ history, the experience of social, outcasts, spiritual communities, and the power of the human spirit to persevere and even grow in the face of death.

I am looking forward to the last two episodes!

The beautiful way in which each episode is narrated made me feel like I was physically present at MCC, hearing the pastor’s words as he described the sorrow of losing so many to AIDS. I have listened to some episodes twice and I look forward to each new episode. This is one of the best podcasts I’ve heard by far.

I wasn’t sure I could handle a podcast about such a difficult and sad time but this was so beautiful and hopeful. Exactly what I needed. Thank you.
